A consensus has been found to indicate that VGChartz is a bad source for this list, as it does not have actual sales figures or professional estimates. |

Tamagochi is a video game that has sold 91 million units. It should be added to the list in the #3 spot. Or the Wikipedia page for Tamagochi should be changed to not describe it as a video game that has sold 91 million units. 2605:B100:351:3B8C:0:C:EB9B:501 (talk) 19:06, 28 November 2024 (UTC)

Sales of Tetris (Game Boy)
[edit]Currently, this list says the Game Boy version of Tetris as having sold 40 million copies, sourced to Venture Beat. However, the official website currently lists this version has having sold 35 million copies, and I've seen secondary sources use both sales figures. Should the figure in our list be replaced with 35 million since it is more official, or should we keep the 40 million figure simply because its bigger. Lazman321 (talk) 16:56, 4 December 2024 (UTC)
- The List of best-selling Game Boy video games article currently claims 35 million copies were sold. Other sources I looked at claimed that Tetris (Game Boy) sold around 30-40 million copies, and I'm not entirely sure which figure is more accurate. I support the use of the official Tetris website as a source. --Bro3256 (talk) 20:58, 4 December 2024 (UTC)

Fortnite sold more.
[edit]Fortnite has sold over 350 million copies, crushing minecraft and grand theft auto by far. Thecyrptic (talk) 22:55, 16 December 2024 (UTC)
- First of all, free to play games are excluded from this list (I doubt 350 million people bought Save the World). Second of all, you have no source. λ NegativeMP1 23:07, 16 December 2024 (UTC)
Sonic the Hedgehog (1991)
[edit]The Games own Wikipedia page lists the game as having 24 Million in Sales. Which would knock "Nintendogs" out and put it with "Kinect Adventures!". The "VG sales wiki" has the game at 51.8 Million and includes sources, that's very dubious though and would need a thorough look. However, I do think it should be credited for it's 24 Million currently. Cider621 (talk) 02:11, 20 December 2024 (UTC)
- Skyrim's wikipedia page said it has sold 60+ million yet its nowhere on this list 2601:3C5:8180:31D0:1535:2DBD:E08D:330A (talk) 06:41, 24 December 2024 (UTC)
