CEO stuff
[edit]William Allen Simpson (talk · contribs) feels that information about the CEO in the 1940s not hosting boarders is germane for the article, per his reverts on this page. Does consensus agree? power~enwiki (π, ν) 04:10, 3 March 2021 (UTC)
- So far, I've never edited this page. FYI, here's the personal attack posted on my Talk:
- I am not an admin, but I can get you banned (or, more likely, some admin will ban you before I get around to it). Your edit-warring is not welcome on this project, please stop doing it. There's no reason to care whether the CEO of Quaker Oats hosted borders in the article on Aunt Jemima; if you feel otherwise please discuss on the talk page, not ANI. power~enwiki (π, ν) 03:39, 3 March 2021 (UTC)
- Wikipedia seems to have gotten far more nasty these days.

- "Never edited" - to my surprise, you are correct; you are not involved in recent edits to this page. Now, why did I come across this at WP:ANI, and which edits do you not want to remain in the live version of this article? power~enwiki (π, ν) 04:22, 3 March 2021 (UTC)
- AFAICT, there's no recent suggestion of any problems in this article at ANI. There is dispute over the article Aunt Jemima, which is a different but related article. Nil Einne (talk) 11:20, 3 March 2021 (UTC)
Uhhh… Where is Gatorade?
[edit]I don’t know but in Brands in US, there is no Gatorade. Even though it’s one of the biggest brands of Quaker Oats Company. 88.84.208.58 (talk) 13:59, 30 November 2022 (UTC)
Quaker Oats company.
[edit]My concern is who u have as founders my great grandfather, George Douglas and Robert Stuart were the founders of the actual Quaker Oats Company. They gave it the name. From the previous oat mills they aquired 206.204.220.150 (talk) 23:26, 1 January 2023 (UTC)
- Reliable sources will be needed for us to do anything with these claims. General Ization Talk 23:28, 1 January 2023 (UTC)
- The article already mentions the roles of George Douglas and Robert Stuart in the mills that were later acquired to form Quaker Oats Company. General Ization Talk 23:30, 1 January 2023 (UTC)
Typo found
[edit]In the beginning of sentence 2 of paragraph 2 of Precursor miller companies there is a missing word. It looks like it should be "said" or "stated" but maybe something else is needed, I don't know. VeiledOcean8565 (talk) 22:57, 13 September 2023 (UTC)
- Thanks for pointing this out. I made the necessary edit. Feel free to make the edit yourself next time; your intuition was correct. :) pillowcrow 22:45, 15 November 2023 (UTC)
